Paintings and Projects > Project: Constant and Variable

Wallpaper II – Bubble Pop evokes day-glo colors in a visual illusion experiment that wouldn’t mix well with the hangover caused by the passage of time. Bubble pop is based on a Java object code program exercise that creates the illusion of randomness but yet is not random. I imagined the decay of the program as the pattern printed out over reams and reams of wallpaper. Decay is uncomfortable and inevitable and in its variable state can been seen as a constant.
